Polish Film Institute (Polish: Polski Instytut Sztuki Filmowej) is a state legal entity established in 2005 to support the development of cinematography. [1] The Institute operates on the basis of the Act of 30 June 2005 on cinematography, the Act of 9 November 2018 on financial support for audiovisual production and its statute.
Its tasks include: submitting Polish films at festivals, cooperation with diplomatic institutions, publication of promotional materials, presenting Poland at international festivals, and supporting international film events with the participation of Polish and foreign filmmakers.
