   • They are two different apps by two different companies. Mangaplus is mainly for simulpubs. And so, for most manga you can only read the latest few chapters. Viz's Shonen Jump gives you access to intermediate chapters as well if you have the subscription. The latest chapters are still free, same as Mangaplus and can be read without a subscription.
