The MSc MTEC programme is tutor-driven. The tutor is a D-MTEC professor and provides individual support as you create a personalised course of study (selection of Core, Elective and Supplementary Courses) based on your own talents, aims and expectations. The tutor should also be the supervisor of your Master’s thesis.

The MSc MTEC curriculum consists of courses, an internship and the Master's thesis. A tutor and our programme guidelines will help you to select courses to build your specialisation and fulfil the graduation requirements.
There are some differences, especially in the concept of the programs M.Eng./M.Tech. and M.Sc (and M.A. obviously too). From my experience, and Wikipedia states this also, the M.Eng./M.Tech. degrees are rather given by Universities of Applied Sciences (at least in Germany, Canada, Finland etc,) and seldomly by Universities focusing on research.
