Love Bites is a Respectful Relationships Education Program for young people aged 15-17 years. It consists of two interactive workshops: one on Relationship Violence, and one on Sex and Relationships, followed by creative workshops and community campaigns.
The LOVE BiTES Junior programme views young people as active participants who can make choices for themselves and their relationships when supported. It encourages and develops young people’s skills in critical thinking and assists them in being able to problem solve and communicate effectively.

Since LOVE BiTES was initially implemented in 2003, community feedback from across Australia has consistently included the need for respectful relationship education programs for younger students. The LOVE BiTES Junior Program consists of 3 programs:
NAPCAN is excited to announce the 2022 release of the new Love Bites manual. The manual looks different and has many small improvements and changes, with general updates across most of the program activities and resources.
NAPCAN has a range of modified Love Bites and RRE programs available. This includes resources for culturally diverse settings, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth, out of school settings and remote communities.
