Since BNP Paribas Fortis Film Finance was set up in 2007, the unit has financed over 500 productions (audiovisual or performing arts projects), attracted more than 1,700 investors and invested some €330 million on behalf of third parties.
BNP Paribas, through its subsidiaries Cofiloisirs and Cinécapital, has participated in the financing of 17 films nominated for the César 2024, and 11 films nominated for the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, one of which won the "Palme d'or" Prize: 'Anatomie of a fall' directed by Justine Triet.
