Yakeen Ka Safar was developed by Hum TV's senior producer Momina Duraid of MD Productions, the channel hired the director Shahzad Kashmiri who previously directed Bin Roye for the same channel. Along with Kashmiri, Mirza Zeeshan Baig was finalised as the art director, it was Baig's return to Hum Television after he directed Diyar-e-Dil, Mann Mayal, Sanam, Dil Banjaara and Alif Allah Aur Insaan for the same channel. Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir, Shaaz Khan and Hira Salman were selected to portray the leading roles of Zubiya, Asfandyar, Daniyal and Gaeti.
