If you want to upgrade your Q box then you need to contact Sky directly. If you need to contact them you need to persevere by phone.

Jun 13, 2020 · So your box gets swapped out, losing your recordings again. Bare in mind though, that Sky boxes were never designed to be used for long term storage boxes. They were designed for time shifting recordings. Eventually your hard drive will pack up and your recordings will be gone anyway. Sky Community Forum SuperUser.
Mar 26, 2024 · Sky has issued a new deadline to Sky TV viewers across the UK — upgrade your ageing Sky+ and Sky+ HD box or lose access to all Sky TV channels by August 2024. The deadline comes weeks after BBC pulled its all channels from the older TV boxes at the start of the year. Sky TV is offering an upgrade for free to all viewers.

Nov 9, 2023 · We have a Sky HD box. They sent us a letter saying they were upgrading us to a Sky Q TV box. They gave us a phone number to call, but that was an automated support line that told us to go online. I can't find anything online on this subject: the chat assistant is trying to upgrade my package, not my hardware. Report post.
