It began life as the Citroen DS 3, but then badge-shifted to become the standalone DS company as the Citroen logo was replaced in 2015. There was an almost bewildering array of ways in which you could make a DS 3 your own and distinct from any other on the road.

Latest model. Citroen kept running the ‘DS 3’ under its own badge until 2015, at which point DS Automobiles formally split from the more mainstream French firm. That said, the DS 3 would continue under DS with minimal changes – the key way of telling the difference between the models being the absence of the Citroen chevrons and new ‘DS’ badge.
As a result the DS3 (or DS 3, as it now became known) lost its Citroen badges while gaining a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine and a less cluttered interior design.
