Steve Priest was the bassist and backing vocalist of Sweet. After the band’s breakup, Priest continued to perform with various incarnations of Sweet, including a version known as Andy Scott’s Sweet. He also released a solo album in 1981 titled “Sweet Sweet Music.”. Priest passed away in 2020 at the age of 72.
