After a short wait it is revealed that the Prom King for 2011 is David Karofsky. With everyone waiting to find out who the Prom Queen will be, Figgins informs them that this year's Prom Queen is a write-in candidate and has won with an overwhelming number of votes.
This crowning was a nightmare for both of them but Kurt had Blaine by his side and got his happy ending with the glee club, while we see Karofsky walk off, alone, too afraid and not ready to come out as Kurt encouraged him to.
