Background Information
Modie was the founding member of the London Fields crew. His reckless attitude and aggressive business style earned him a formidable reputation which contributed to the growth of his gang. At some point, Modie's sister married Jermaine Newton, making the latter his brother-in-law. At some point, Modie was tried and convicted for the possession and sale of Class A drugs. He was given an 18-year sentence, ending up behind bars with Gerard "Sully" Sullivan.
Season 3
Members of the London Fields gang discuss Modie's conviction, with Leyton reminding them that Modie intended for him to run the operation in his absence. ("Bruk Up") Modie is in his prison cell when Leyton uses a drone to discretely transport drugs and a mobile phone to his cell window, which Modie uses to contact London Fields, indicating he intends to resume his business behind bars. The following morning, as Sullyqueues for breakfast, Modie cuts in front of him and starts antagonising him....
