Katrine doesn't die in the book, so I was baffled. I was waiting for a scene with her in hospital or something, Harry telling her about the case. Likewise if she did die then why, as you said, did they not have even a single line from someone expressing sadness, let alone a funeral scene? She's basically the second protagonist!
