May 30, 2019 · With a wildly inconsistent episode, skipping between interesting camera angles and nicely worked twists, to following the conventions of this genre to the letter, The InBetween gets off to a bit of a shaky start, laying the groundwork for a series that could go either way going forward.
What actually happened was the main character was unexpectedly visited by a detective who had, not once but twice been outright rude to her, and then he unexpectedly shows up at her home very early in the morning.
