Over 300 years in the future, a team of researchers (lead by Frances de la Tour) attempt to view the memories of a long-dead man (Albert Finney). The modern backdrop is much changed but accurate to today's trends with terrorist threats making public excursions dangerous, cigarettes banned and technology forgetting keys but using touch pads.
While technology has advanced in the 24th Century, global corporate control has brought about an austere, antiseptic way of life. In the year 2368, the terrorist organization RON (Reality or Nothing), seeks a return to the tranquility of earlier times.
