Slavia was founded on 2 November 1892 [nb 2] by medicine students in Vinohrady, Prague, as a sport club aimed at increasing sport activity among students. Initially the club focused on cycling, and expanded to football in 1896. [4] On 25 March of that year, Slavia won their first match against AC Prague 5–0.
The founders of our club in 1893 – the University Cycling Club Slavia. This is the first time we can see the Slavia flag, the first memorabilia of our club. The star points to the top in the picture but points to the bottom when turned by 90 degrees (such as on the pole).
May 28, 2024 · The logo will change after 26 years of using the round emblem with red and white halves and a red star inside the white half. Five-pointed star standing on the top has been representing Slavia since its foundation, accompanied by the red and white colour.

The current form of the national flag of the Slovak Republic (Slovak: Vlajka Slovenskej republiky) was adopted by Slovakia's Constitution, which came into force on 3 September 1992. The flag, like many other flags of Slavic nations, uses Pan-Slavic colors ( red , white , and blue ).
