The Fox Oakland Theatre is a 2,800-seat concert hall, a former movie theater, located at 1807 Telegraph Avenue in Downtown Oakland. It originally opened in 1928, running films until 1970. Designed by Weeks and Day, the theatre is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

I came to Oakland just to see Robert Plant in concert at the Fox, and it did not disappoint. The theater itself is gorgeous, definitely the best restoration I've ever seen. The sound system is excellent, and the staff is great. If you choose the balcony, seating is comfortable and views are excellent in practically any seat.
