The main school offers a five year program, Years 7 to 11, which allows all students to gain a broad experience of a wide variety of subjects before a guided choice of GCSE subjects. All students study a comprehensive range of subjects throughout these two years.
Welcome to the Senior School – 'Senior School' is our term for students between the ages of eleven and sixteen (Years 7-11). Entering the Senior School, students benefit from specialised facilities and a broad curriculum.
For the college, the main intake continues to be 11+ for most day and boarding students , 13+ (boarders only) and again in the sixth form, but occasional admissions are made to other years (except 11 and 13).

The College isconsistently in the top 5% of state schools for GCSE and A Level results,and every year around 10 students receive Oxbridge places, with more than 50% going on to Russell Group universities.
