(メエメエ, Mey Mey?) is a mascot from Wonderful Pretty Cure!. He is a Niko Animal who lives in the Niko Garden, and the first victim to be turned into a Garugaru.
Appearance
Mey Mey is a sheep with cream-colored wool, orange horns, brown hooves, and pink skin. He wears glasses, a red bowtie, baby blue buttons, and medium blue frills.
Personality
Mey Mey is a docile, responsible and capable ally. However, he can get easily stressed whenever others refuse to listen to him or his advice.
Relationships
•Niko: Mey Mey serves Niko as his loyal butler. •Inukai Iroha and Inukai Komugi: At first, Mey Mey was skeptical about Iroha and Komugi's capabilities, but later comes to trust them. However, he is always exasperated when they constantly ignore him. •Toyama Satoru: Initially, Mey Mey didn't trust Satoru, until he realizes that Satoru is reliable. He always relies on Satoru to listen to him when he is ignored by the girls. •Nekoyashiki Mayu: At first, Mey Mey didn't trust Mayu after learning that she had found out about the Pretty Cure's secret. However, he later trusts her after she volunteers to help him with his work. He, however, doesn't like her touching his wool.
Sometime after Niko Garden is invaded by a mysterious dark force, Mey Mey is turned into a Garugaru. He then mindlessly attacks Animal Town's pet park, where he almost hurts a boy and his dog, until Iroha distracts him. He is later purified by Cure Wonderful, who purifies him with her hug.WPC01
Mey Mey then gathers the strength to tell Komugi and Iroha about Niko Garden, and asks Komugi to help rescue the animals. However, upon Komugi's refusal to do so without Iroha's help, and Iroha's struggle with keeping the mission a secret, Mey Mey suddenly becomes light-headed. He then enters the Kiraniko Trunk so he can recover from the Garugaru's influence. The next day, Mey Mey is summoned by Komugi and Iroha, where he notices Iroha has also become a Pretty Cure, and the weaken Niko Animal Ostrich. Mey Mey then decides to take the Ostrich and the girls to Niko Garden.WPC02
In the Niko Garden, Mey Mey tells Komugi and Iroha about the Niko Fruit, and allows them to try it. Mey Mey then reveals the Niko Garden's backstory, and how he needs the Pretty Cure to help them. Mey Mey admits to the girls that he isn't sure what's going on, but forbids Iroha from asking for outside help because he thinks Niko will scold him. The next day, Mey Mey is picking up jewels off the ground, when Komugi and Iroha return with the Kirarin Rabbit. The girls tell him that the Kirarin Animal is feeling unwell, and Satoru recommends he feed a Niko Fruit to the rabbit. Mey Mey goes along with the recommendation before realizing that Satoru is someone new. At first, Mey Mey is angry, but comes to accept Satoru after noticing that he actually listens to what he says.WPC03
When being told by Iroha that Komugi has run away, Mey Mey becomes extremely worried. He almost gets discovered by Iroha's mother, but luckily he hides himself in the Kiraniko Trunk. Sometime later, he is relieved that Komugi has made up with Iroha, only for him to mourn over how both girls have left him before he has finished talking.WPC07
Upon learning that Mayu has found out about the Pretty Cure's secrets and Niko Garden itself, Mey Mey is upset, especially when Mayu starts touching his wool. However, he later befriends Mayu after she helps him with his work. After hearing that the Kirarin Animals are preparing a thank-you party, Mey Mey assumes it's for him, and becomes so motivated that he helps Wonderful and Friendy by distracting the Garugaru, who was the Kirarin Fawn. At first, Mey Mey is disappointed that the Kirarin Animals actually prepared the party for the Cures, but cheers up when it turns out that they also acknowledged him.WPC15
When Iroha tells Mey Mey that she wants to tell her parents about her secret, Mey Mey protests and is against her idea. However, he ends up exposing himself due to being distracted by Komugi. He then tells both of Iroha's parents about Iroha and Komugi helping Niko Garden's lost animals, and is invited to stay for dinner by Youko for the night.WPC16

Sep 29, 2024 · This episode made me want the production using more super shojo filter. I liked how Satoru looked with the shojo filter that Mey Mey imagined.
When Satoru tells Mey Mey that he'll talk to Iroha and Komugi later, it makes Mey Mey so happy that he gives Satoru a hug. Mayu is outside the store wondering if any customers will come, when Iroha comes running in and starts asking Mayu multiple questions, to Mayu's confusion.
Feb 18, 2024 · In Niko Garden, Mey Mey once again asks Iroha and Komugi, “Please help my friends.” Meanwhile, on his way home from Iroha's house, Satoru comes across a mysterious black egg.

Oct 6, 2024 · Okay, so Satoru, uh, “confessed his feelings” to Iroha (and even then, Mey Mey had already “spilled the beans”), but the only noteworthy part, IMO, was when Satoru “talked” to Daifuku with Niko translating.
