Jul 9, 2019 · Using ‘myself’ can be tricky. It is easier to remember when NOT to use it. Never this: He sent the reports to Boopy and myself. ( He sent them to ME!) And never this: “Boopy and myself were waiting for the reports. (I was waiting for them.) The use of myself is either reflexive or intensive.

Jan 23, 2012 · “I” is the subject, and “myself” is the object, since the action/verb “going to finish” is being done to me. So if your sentence doesn’t have “I” as the subject, and the action isn’t being done to you, don’t use “myself.”
