If you say, "I hear you calling and I will come anon," the person calling you might still be impatient, but they'll be impressed. The word anon can be found as early as the 11th Century, with the Old English word āne meaning "in one," or "right away."
Romeo's tempted to jump out and speak right away, but he waits long enough to hear Juliet gush about him. She ponders the meaning of names and decides they don't really matter. You can call a rose a skunk, but it's still going to smell good.
Without knowing that Romeo can hear her, Juliet laments the fact that Romeo is a Montague. Once he reveals himself, she declares her love for him and agrees to marry him.
