Ohio Wesleyan students consistently rate the faculty highly for quality of teaching, excitement about their academic disciplines, mentoring, commitment, and accessibility. 100% of full-time tenure-track faculty hold a Ph.D. or equivalent or are completing work toward the degree.
OWU's classes are intentionally small, with classes taught only by professors, and rich learning and research opportunities. Students work closely with professors who are caring mentors. Every student is guaranteed a transformative internship, research or travel learning experience.
Home to about 1,426 undergraduates in 2020, OWU is a small, private university located in Delaware, Ohio. A safe, suburban environment can offer many of the amenities of city living without the constant hum. Should you tire of the campus however, OWU offers a “study abroad” program.
