Tetsutetsu has a good relationship with his classmate Juzo. The two team up in the Cavalry Battle [4] and Juzo wishes him and Ibara luck when they are chosen to participate in the tournament event of the Sports Festival. [1]
Tetsutetsu is a member of the Villa Backup Team along with some of his Class 1-B mates and Class 1-A students. Their mission is to provide support to the heroes who raid the Gunga Mountain Villa and prevent villains from escaping.
With Class 1-B considered second-rate, Tetsutetsu is highly determined to prove himself (while not as obsessed as toppling them like Neito Monoma). He does wish to overcome their defeat, as shown with how he was brought to tears and apologised to his teacher for disappointing him.

His quirk, Steel, lets him transform his skin into steel. This dramatically increases both his physical strength and his defensive capabilities, as well as offering resistance to heat and cold.
