Nov 1, 2023 · Our results demonstrate a controllable and efficient method to design atomically precise ordered host–guest assemblies on solid surfaces, advancing the approach is yet another step toward the fabrication of molecular devices.
Feb 1, 2023 · This review will concentrate on the recent progress of host–guest MOFs. The achievements and understanding of host–guest MOF, including the components of host–guest systems, the types of species interactions, and the characterization methods have been reviewed and discussed.
Jul 18, 2023 · The host–guest assembly strategy presented herein could not only engineer specific catalytic components into the framework but also encode another active site on the integrated linear polymers, which results in an impressive performance that clearly surpasses the state-of-the-art catalytic systems.
Jun 23, 2016 · Host–guest chemistry is one of the defining concepts of supramolecular chemistry which describes the formation of unique structural complexes between two or more molecules or ions via non-covalent interactions.

We review the methodologies to refine host–guest interactions based primarily on our studies on the host–guest chemistry of MOFs. The methods include ligand functionalization, variation of metal centers, formation of defects, addition of single atom sites, and control of pore size and structure.
Nov 17, 2021 · Host–guest based supramolecular assemblies, as constructed through non-covalent interactions, are highly dynamic in nature, and can be tuned easily using their responses to various external stimuli, providing a convenient approach to achieve excellent functional materials.
