Oct 2, 2023 · The British Black Arts Movement was led by the Blk Art Group, a student collective from the West Midlands, including Lubaina Himid, Sonia Boyce, Donald Rodney and Keith Piper. The movement tore down barriers to access for Black artists, and put Black Britain on the global cultural map.
