- One-Armed Swordsman (Cheng Chang, 1967) One of the most iconic characters of the action genre, “One-Armed Swordsman” was also a turning point for the industry, introducing the concept of the anti-hero and being one of the first films to entail intense swordplay scenes and heavy bloodletting.
