- Tibetan Mastiff. Originating from the snowy landscapes of Tibet, the Tibetan Mastiff is a very large breed. Their massive size, complemented by a noble bearing, is accentuated by an impressive double coat.
- Swedish Vallhund. The Swedish Vallhund might look short and stocky, but they are both athletic and versatile. Hailing from Sweden, this Scandinavian dog breed are small yet powerful and fearless.
- Bedlington Terrier. Bedlingtons are playful and cheerful but less rowdy and calmer indoors than many of the terrier breeds. Once outside these terriers change from docile into fun-loving, fast and energetic dogs.
- Finnish Spitz. With a striking resemblance to a fox, the Finnish Spitz captures attention with its erect ears, beautiful dense coat, and bushy tail. These dogs, native to Finland, are known for their intelligence and brisk movements.
- Telomian. Small-to-medium in size, protective of their owners and of an athletic build, Telomians are only found in isolated jungle villages near the Telom River in the Cameron Highlands, Malaysia.
- Norwegian Lundehund. Dating back to the Ice Age, the Norwegian Lundehund is classed as one of the rarest dog breeds in the world — and for good reason.
- Azawakh. Resembling a Greyhound or Whippet in appearance, thanks to its tall, slim and muscular stature, the rare Azawakh breed originates from West Africa and gets its name from the close-by Azawagh Valley.
- Lagotto Romagnolo. Known for their curly locks, the Lagotto Romagnolo can be traced back to the 7th century B.C. when they were used to retrieve waterfowl in the vast marshlands of northern Italy.
- American English Coonhound. Descended from English foxhounds, the American English coonhound is an American breed specifically bred to hunt raccoons. These dogs are intense hunters and thrive in a pack.
- Australian Kelpie. This tireless, hardworking herding dog from Australia is very intelligent, eager to please, and energetic. Australian Kelpies need a great deal of daily exercise, but can also relax happily near their family at the end of the day.
- Azawakh. This speedy sighthound is an ancient breed from West Africa used for racing and hunting. The Azawakh is a very independent, intelligent, and loyal breed that doesn't show affection as openly as some other breeds, but is very devoted to its family and suspicious of strangers.
- Bergamasco Sheepdog. An Italian herding dog, the Bergamasco sheepdog has a striking coat that naturally forms thick mats and requires very little maintenance.
