Thunder is the Battle Pass skin no one knew they needed. This is an odd addition for sure, but it fits right in with the theme strangely, and many players are excited to get to level 26, so they can trade their Battle Stars for this awesome reptilian.

There are tons of realities in Fortnite lore and Stray is just one variation of the original Chapter 1 Season 5 Drift skin - even his description reads "adrift, but never lost" confirming their connection.
