The classes are nice, most are relatively small and even the largest lectures are maybe 200 students. The people are really cool, although that may just be the nature of college in general. Greek life is definitely popular, but only 40% of students are involved so it isn’t as big as you might think.
Met more people. You'll be amazed at how rich some of the people are at SMU, but you'll also make great connections that are much harder to make at other schools. Gone to Dedman more. It's really nice gym. Gone to more sporting events. The dorms are actually pretty nice. The community is nice and the area surrounding SMU isn't the cheapest.

It’s just that I find the somewhat small, but noticeable-enough subset of “rich kids” off-putting at times. But one has to take the bad with the good. My overall impression of SMU’s student body is a very good one!</p>.

The events and overall spirit of the school is really enjoyable during the fall. Food is hit and miss in the dining halls overall Lee is better than Arnold.
