Oct 4, 2024 · GTA REALTORS® reported 4,996 home sales through TRREB’s MLS® System in September 2024 – up by 8.5 per cent compared to 4,606 sales reported in September 2023. New listings entered into the MLS® System amounted to 18,089 – up by an even greater 10.5 per cent year-over-year.
Ontario recorded 13,251 sales in September 2024, up 9.8% year-over-year. The average home sold price in the GTA was $1,107,291 in September 2024, representing a decrease of 1.1% year-over-year and yet up by 3.1% month-over-month. Meanwhile, the GTA’s benchmark home price is down 4.6% year-over-year to $1,068,700.
