Exploring the Gardens: Angus’s Garden is a popular tourist destination thanks to its stunning collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, and a wide variety of flowering shrubs and bulbs. Visitors can stroll along three different picturesque paths lined with trees and flowers and enjoy dazzling displays of colours and fragrances.
Apr 27, 2024 · This wee garden is thought to have been planted in Victorian times and includes some massive hollies, a handkerchief tree and a North American tulip tree. There’s also a paperbark maple, a tree now believed to be extinct in its native Manchuria.
This unspoilt, secluded setting attracts a wide range of wildlife, and the eleven-acre loch is home to swans and ducks. On the northwest side of the garden overlooking the loch stands “Betty’s Bell”, a tribute to her 40 years spent creating this magical garden.

Aug 14, 2024 · 5.0 of 5 bubbles. Serenity and calm. Coming into autumn the gardens have changed again. Still full of colour and birdsong, bees busy amongst the lavender and the occasional peacock or red admiral butterfly fluttering past.
