Tommy Talton (January 9, 1949 – December 28, 2023) was an American guitarist who was a member of the rock groups Cowboy and We the People.
[4] [5] Tommy Talton went on to form the country rock/southern rock band Cowboy with Scott Boyer and was consequently the only member of We the People to have a professional music career after the 1960s.
He began his musical career in Central Florida in 1966 as a founding member of a group called “We The People.” The group had several top ten hits throughout Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

As childhood friend and co-member of We The People beside Chuck Leavell, Tommy was backstage as Chuck VIP guest. At the end of the show, Tommy took Chuck to come to a jam with him at the Bistrot Art Scene in Luxembourg (our common hometown).
