Nov 15, 2009 · In mid-1987, after several changes in band members, a small plane carrying Terry Robinson and the rest of the Montana Band crashed on the shore of Flathead Lake killing ten people. Reunited by tragedy, Rob, Steve, Christian and Greg, along with Terry’s brother Bruce, rekindled the flame and are once again in search of the magic.
Their friends who died 25 years ago — Terry Robinson, Kurt Bergeron, Alan Larson, Cliff Tipton and Grady Whitfield — are, like the song goes, “Never Long Gone” from their memories.

The five original members—Rob Quist, Steve Riddle, Christian Johnson, Greg Reichenberg, and the late Terry Robinson—were all UM students and Montana natives. Quist is from Cutbank, Riddle from Libby, Robinson from Kalispell, and Reichenberg and Johnson from Billings.
