Kloth and Nuss, 26-year-olds who began competing together in 2021, mathematically clinched the first of two U.S. women’s spots for Paris with nearly three months left in Olympic qualifying.

Taryn began playing beach volleyball in January 2019 at LSU, graduating early from Creighton University, where she competed for 4 seasons as an All-American indoor volleyball outside hitter. In 2015 & 2016, she and her team made it to the Sweet 16 and Elite 8. In 2017 she was named Big East Tournament MVP.
