It is recommended the you start with the main books The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials, and The Death Cure first, with "Thomas’s First Memory of the Flare" sitting between books two and three. Then The Kill Order, and The Fever Code will follow.
As to reading order, I'd suggest the main trilogy, then Crank Palace (it occurs during The Death Cure), and then The Kill Order (the first of the prequels). After that, ask yourself how much you enjoy the series and if you like the series so much you're willing see the villains ruined.
