If you are not into much into slow paced shows, I don't think you will watch goblin throughout. But if you are patient enough, the show is worth watching. More than the first lead, I liked the second leads love story more and the drama has a very good OST playlist.

I think Goblin is the gold standard for kdramas just in terms of the production, and everyone should try watching it for that alone. The cinematography is stunning, the sets and costumes are gorgeous, the music is amazing and one of the best soundtracks out there.
Yes. It would be absolutely criminal to decide not to watch Goblin because of how you may perceive the ending, happy or sad, the show has one of the best bromances out there, terrific second lead story, high production and great cinematography, and a killer OST.
