- Demon bite to near cap, then chaos strike down. No reason to pool and dump like this. The general rule of thumb is simple: if you have the fury to Chaos Strike, use Chaos Strike. If you don’t, use Demon’s Bite.

You use FB with Demon Blades as an on use generator and a passive generator. Both of the main builds for DH ST revolve around using CS as many times as possible, using GCDs on generators (FB AND DB), you lose the ability to do more damage by using more less damaging generators.
When you press demon bite and chaos strike you get one hit and the sound of for hit… even though the rotation does not really slow down in terms of button presses, the feeling because of the audio feedback makes it seem like my furious and fast paced demon hunter has slowed down to a crawl.
The best you could do is: /castsequence Demon's Bite, Demon's Bite, Chaos Strike. This will generate 40 -60 Fury and guarantee you have enough for Chaos Strike. The problem is if you use Fury for anything else. Another solution is to have them on two different buttons and spam them, 12121212. That is what I do.

Oct 21, 2024 · Hitting an enemy with Demon's Bite / Demon Blades or Throw Glaive applies a DoT dealing moderate Chaos damage over 15 seconds. Enemies take 40% additional damage from your Immolation Aura when affected by this, but can only be applied to a maximum of 3 targets at a time.
I use this macro for Demon Bite, Chaos Strike, and Blade Dance for Havoc and Shear/Fracture, Soul Cleave, and Spirit Bomb for Vengeance. It's not really necessary on BD, SC, or SB, since they're all aoe's that don't require a primary target, but I like having it there to make sure i don't stop auto attacking.
