   Sep 2, 2023 · Yes, for these reasons: - Far cheaper than if you would have bought them day 1 back in the days. - On PC so we may have some mods and randomizers to add replayability. - MGS2 & 3 are the HD version (Konami released MGS 1 & 2 PC version which are not good ports, here MGS1 will be like the PS1 version which is the better version for the most part)

   Jun 9, 2024 · I believe the entire collection is worth the cost (MG + MG2 + MGS1 + MGS2 + MGS3). While it's not perfect, nor does it actually meet the minimum standard for a PC release (you can't choose a specific resolution, among other options), most of the extra stuff you'd want can be obtained through mods (like the resolution).

   • MGS1 but with better graphisms, plays like MGS and got a lot more silly stuff, MGS3 got a 3DS version which allow you to duck-walk, making the game easier and a bit faster since normaly when you crouch you can't move forward as it will make you crawl, crawling being slower than duck-walking, and it got some new little things I believe.

   • There’s an article/interview with Kojima out there somewhere about the controls for MGS. They were specifically designed around not wanting to have too many buttons and not being confusing and the like. The controls were never a problem for me but I’m also someone who grew up with it.
