   • Buy it on Steam when it goes on sale. Right now every publisher feels like they need their own store and launcher and it ruins the PC gaming experience. Ignoring their store is the only way to fight back and let them know we are not interested. If you buy it directly from Ubisoft it sends the wrong message. Yap that ruins alot of Stuff.

   • Buying the game through Steam makes you need Ubisoft Connect anyways. If you're going to download and make an account through Ubisoft Connect just to buy the DLC, you might as well get the game too. They'll be on sale more frequently since it's the native client and been out longer on the store.

   • You would have to use two launchers as Uplay will require Steam running for the Steam version of the game to be played. Personally, I would just buy through Uplay if I wanted Ubisoft games. OK, thanks SoT! I'll be buying on Uplay then.

   • Yes Steam's more convenient, but you're running Ubisoft through the background anyways. I've purchased all of the Season Passes and Ornament Packs as they've released and still haven't experienced everything. It's a great game, and one shouldn't make a big fuss over Steam or Ubisoft. Ubisoft Connect isn't a BAD client.

   • ubisoft connect even if you buy on the steam you will need it to link to ubiosft account. I prefer Ubisoft Connect. Better have one launcher launched than two. Less memory being used. Plus, I do it for the aesthetics. If it's a Ubisoft game, I'd prefer it to be in Ubisoft Connect, their launcher. If it's EA game, I'd prefer Origin.

   I think its better just on Ubisoft Connect because even if you do get it on Steam it will still load Ubisoft Connect to run the games. I've got all the Assassin's Creed games except the first (I've got that on GOG) and Valhalla (not purchased yet) and all 3 Watch Dogs on Ubisoft Connect.
