Pok Fu Lam (薄扶林) or Pokfulam is a residential area on Hong Kong Island, at the western end of the Southern District. It is a valley between Victoria Peak and Mount Kellett, around Telegraph Bay.
At 493m above sea level, High West towers between Victoria Harbour and Mount Davis with a magnificent view of Hong Kong from Pok Fu Lam Reservoir right over to Victoria Harbour. It is one of the most famous sunset spots on The Peak.
At the centre of Pok Fu Lam is an indigenous village, the Pok Fu Lam Village (薄扶林村), the only one of its kind remaining on Hong Kong Island.

The Pok Fu Lam Country Park is situated in the area directly south and west of Victoria Peak. This is a 270-hectare park designated in 1979 that provides hiking trails and outdoors area for residents and tourists to enjoy on Hong Kong Island.

Built on a sloping hillside, peaceful Pok Fu Lam Village looks like a shanty town compared to the high-density middle-class residences around it. Though no stunner, it's valued by historians not only for the famous fire dragon dance at the Mid-Autumn Festival, but equally for its ties to Hong Kong's dairy industry.
