Look out for woodland birds including great spotted woodpecker, marsh tit, nuthatch and treecreeper, and spotted flycatchers in summer.

  5. 663 photos. Excellent walk through a good mix of terrain, including woodland, streams and moorland. Great walk with some steep and long uphill sections, but a refreshing end of hike pit-stop in the cafe by the waterfalls made it all good. Falling Foss waterfall is just stunning.
