Las Rosas is a city in the southwest of the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, located 165 km (103 mi) from the provincial capital. It has about 13,689 inhabitants as per the 2010 census , and it is the head town of the Belgrano Department, which also comprises the municipalities of Armstrong, Bouquet, Las Parejas, Montes de Oca, and Tortugas.
Las Rosas es una ciudad perteneciente a la Provincia de Santa Fe, República Argentina. Es la cabecera del Departamento Belgrano . Está situada a la vera de la Ruta Nacional 178 , en la región centro-oeste de la provincia de Santa Fe , a solo 40 km del límite con la provincia de Córdoba por la ruta: RP 65.
Reseña histórica: A partir del año 1864 comenzaron a instalarse en la región las primeras estancias agropecuarias a partir de una importante inmigración inglesa, alemana y norteamericana. Entre ellas se destacaba Las Rosas, propiedad de Guillermo Kemmis.
