- Would You Rather is a horror film in the truest sense, opening up frightening doors in our minds and making us look at parts of ourselves. It's not easy, but it is well-done and extremely compelling. Rated: B+ • Jan 26, 2019 An ungainly horror film that tries to twist the genre in a new direction, but fails utterly.

Netflix doesn't have an abundance of great horror films, but Would You Rather was always one that stood out to me. It isn't the greatest, some of the writing is lackluster, same goes for the acting but the overall experience of the film is enjoyable.
Would You Rather is a leading contender of the most angst and depressing filled horror film of 2013. The film is like a different variation of a Saw film but meatier, more suspenseful and old-fashioned with not much bloodshed. It's also like a deadlier version of MTV's Silent Library.

Desperate to help her ailing brother, a young woman unknowingly agrees to compete in a deadly game of "Would You Rather," hosted by a sadistic aristocrat. Would You Rather is a leading contender of the most angst and depressing filled horror film of 2013.
