  1. Sonic Underground is a show that shows DiC’s apathy towards the Sonic series (and possibly to other video game series by extent). With them making a massive rush job for the sole reason of collecting song royalties while using a premise that sounds outdated (even by 1999 standards) in an attempt to be “hip” with the JNCO jeans and frosted tips crowd.

  2. I had a dream sega wanted him to voice young Sonic. I thought that was pretty cool but I'm perfectly fine with young Sonic being silent. They considered for a small time (such a small time that Jaleel didn’t get contacted) bringing him back for generations. I think it’s ok. It’s not awesome, but it’s a decent show.

  3. Sonic Underground is unanimously agreed upon to be the worst Sonic cartoon. And there are lots of reasons for this. The show is rated for mature audiences for good reason, as it captures the desperation of slave life and features some of the worst of human behavior.

  6. Dec 20, 2020 · Underground's cast of characters is lovable, hilarious and insanely entertaining, seeing the gang rock out with cheesy 90's rock tunes or defeating bad guys give this show such a distinct feel. However, the thing is, Sonic Underground is bad. It's laughably absurd and almost ridiculous, but it's so weird to explain.

  8. Nov 14, 2019 · At one point, Underground was intended to be a continuation of SatAM, but sadly this was not meant to be. The show was conceived by Robby London, an animation producer with a long impressive resume behind him. He was a producer on shows like Captain Planet, Street Sharks, G.I. Joe, and the first two Sonic cartoons. Wishing to include music as a ...
