Apr 22, 2007 · Yes it is true in a way. The story is an amalgamation of several different true events wove together in a single semi-true storyline. And BTW We have only had TWO World Wars so far, much less Eleven of them.

Although this movie is supposed to be based on fact, the scene in which the spy breaks into the Germany Navy code room is fiction. In fact, the British code breakers at Bletchley Park had already broken the German codes and knew how to pinpoint Atlantis.
