These are the general, unsorted additions to New Game +:
•The Level Cap in New Game + has been increased to Level 10. To reach this, you must upgrade your Armor, Weapon, Weapon Attachment or Shield to Level 9, then convert them at a Dwarven Shop.
•There are actually four levels to reach: 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, and finally 10.
•Notably however, Atreus' gear cannot be leveled up, meaning his combat will only be more difficult than the first time around.
•New Resources are available only in New Game + for upgrading, including Skap Slag, Primal Flames (Weapons), Celestial Fossils (Weapon Accessories), Forsaken Breath (Shields) and Mountain Roots (Armor). These are used to craft the absolute most powerful equipment available in the game.
•All sources of loot and resources now give more valuable rewards. For example, the loot plants in Vanaheim's River Delta will give +200 of Bonded Leather or Dust of Realms.
Several new Armor sets are also now available in the game in New Game +:
•Kratos begins New Game + with the Level 7 Armor of the Black Bear set, a black version of the starting armor that notably keeps the fur cape he wore at the very beginning of the game.
•The Chest Armor's perk is to increase immunity duration while evading, while firing Bifrost Shards after a last-second evade.
•The Wrist and Belt's perks are to increase Kratos' first melee attack immediately after evading.
•The Sparta Armor is a shirtless version of Kratos' starting armor, with zero stats, no perks, and are locked at Power Level 1. Wearing this will of course result in a considerable challenge.
•Similarly, you can now buy Attachments of Sparta for the Axe, Blades, Spear and Shield, which also have zero stats, no perks and are locked at Power Level 1.
New Game + is also home to a suite of brand new Enchantments:
•Ninteteen Equipment Perk Enchantments are available from the Dwarven Shops. Purchased with Gilded Coins, these replicate the effects from other Armor Sets or Shield Ronds with Engravings and Badges (respectively). These are then equipped into one of Kratos' Amulet slots.
•Several of these Enchantments also have a minimum Stat requirement before their Perk will activate.
•The Perks of these Enchantments cannot be stacked with the perks of the Armor Set they're based on. No doubling up!
•Nine Burden Enchantments give you an even greater challenge. They cost 10,000 Hacksilver each and will have debuffs that make gameplay more difficult, such as inflicting the Frost status effect every time Kratos rolls.
•For the ultimate challenge, equip all nine Burdens at once, wear the Spartan Armor Set, and play on Give Me God of War difficulty with the HUD turned off!
Enemies and bosses have also been adjusted for New Game +:
•Bosses now drop new loot and late-game Resources. For example, The Huntress centaur boss now drops a Gale Flame and Smouldering Embers.
•Valkyrie Queen Gna and King Hrolf Kraki have had their moves and behaviors altered for New Game +, making them even more difficult than the first time around.
•Gna and the Berserkers also use and leave behind more attack hazards during their fights, meaning that even the early Berserkers are now a formidable challenge.
•Defeating King Hrolf Kraki unlocks the Flawless Berserker Armor Appearance. This armor set is cosmetic rather than an actual item, and is a glowing, golden version of the original Berserker Armor.
•The optional Ormstunga and The Hateful bosses have extra moves in New Game +. Ormstunga is the Grim fought in Svartalfheim's Alberich Tunnel region, while The Hateful is the recurring Draugr boss fought at the Draugr Holes.
The Nifleheim Sparring Arena has now been expanded in the following ways, but only when accessed in New Game +:
•Many more enemy setups have been included to practice against, and are available from the beginning of the game. If an enemy has multiple types, such as Travellers or Dreiki, you'll fight each one sequentially.
•Training - Spawns a single Undying Draugr with infinite health, perfect for practicing combos, weapon techniques, and testing gear loadouts.
•Basic - Encompasses the original enemy training sets of Draugr, Grim, Light Elf, Einherjar and Hel-Walker. These remain fought in groups.
•Special - Fight against specific enemies, including a Bergsra, Raider Chief, Graudungr, Traveller and a Wulver.
•Elite - Fight against the toughest foes, including a Dark Elf Lord, Einherjar Captain, Light Elf Slayer, Stalker and a Dreki.

Oct 10, 2024 · Whether you are replaying the series on PC after beating them on PS5 or are a veteran of the previous God of War and just want a challenge, GaminjaYT's NG Plus Ready Save can launch you straight into the most difficult challenge of the game. Otherwise, you would have to have already beaten the game on PC before unlocking it.
