The Mask of Zorro is a wonderful movie, and I can watch it from beginning to end and enjoy it. The Legend of Zorro however, cringe worthy and just...horrible. It's almost as if they took a film that was mature, and then attempted to change it to make it for children, instead of targeting the same audience that made the first film such a success.
I think the movie did a good job of taking the idea from the book and making it a ~2h film. While the story in the book was more complex and the characters where deeper, I liked the film´s ending more.
