There is a weekly Curator Highlights Tour every Wednesday afternoon, 2:15pm, no booking required, but please note the 12 places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please request a ticket from the main Reception Desk on your arrival. The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes.

The Hunterian in the South is located in the Rutherford/McCowan building on the University of Glasgow's Dumfries campus, approximately 2 hours south of Glasgow and less than an hour from Carlisle. Free entry to the Hunterian Museum, Hunterian Art Gallery and Hunterian Zoology Museum. Entry to the Mackintosh House is £10/£6 concession.
