I understand that there's a time limit for how long DJI supports its drones. For example, the Mavic Pro is no longer supported. Do we know the end date for support for the Mini 2? Edit, correction. The Mavic Pro Alpine White is not supported, which means no firmware updates.

Introducing DJI Mini 2 SE and DJI Mini 4K – lightweight and compact drones weighing under 249 g. Experience up to 31 minutes of flight time, exceptional wind resistance at level 5, and the convenience of one-tap takeoff, smart RTH, QuickShots, and Panorama modes. These user-friendly drones are designed to make your aerial adventures a breeze.
When the new drone is on hand, activate it before use. Download DJI Fly, connect your drone, remote controller and mobile device, and activate your product following the prompts. Consult the content below for a guide to powering on and activating your device.
DJI Mini 2 SE and DJI Mini 4K requires activation before first use. Follow the on-screen prompts to activate the device using DJI Fly.
Press the Power button on the aircraft and remote controller for one second respectively, and the status LEDs will light up. When only one LED is on, please charge the device before the flight.
QuickShots
DJI Mini 2 SE and DJI Mini 4K supports shooting in Dronie, Rocket, Circle, Helix, and Boomerang modes. The drone records according to the selected shooting mode and automatically generates a short video without pushing control sticks. Panorama
After selecting from Wide-Angle, 180°, and Sphere panoramas, DJI Mini 2 SE and DJI Mini 4K will automatically capture pictures and stitch them to a panoramic masterpiece almost instantly. （This video applies to DJI Mini 2 SE and DJI Mini 4K）
Zooming
DJI Mini 2 SE and DJI Mini 4K supports up to 4x digital zoom to create the perfect composition. Click to know more: How to Zoom on Your Drone
DJI Mini 2 SE and DJI Mini 4K does not include an internal storage, so you cannot snap some photos and record videos or use QuickShots if you forget to bring a memory card. It is recommended to install a microSD card before shooting. Purchase a memory card at DJI Store.

Feb 22, 2024 · The Mini 2 SE, even a little way into it's life cycle, still offers excellent value for money; in many respects it feels like a premium drone and I'd be willing to bet that a good number of people would see footage from this drone and not be able to separate it from its more expensive cousins.
