If you're not planning to PVP, abyss should work pretty well if you can keep 10+ humanities. It's the strongest of all greatswords with only crystal path beating it. The AR at 40/40 should match or exceed murakumo.
With my various weapons tests, I have concluded that the Abyss greatsword may be the best weapon out there in terms of damage. With at least 10 humanity, it outdamages all other GS, most greataxes (not crystal Demon GA), several greathammers (Grant did slightly more damage), and most UGS.
With the Abyss Greatsword and the same vit and endurance, as well as using 35 strength and 40 dexterity the damage is 449 pure physical at SL100. But with 10 humanity the damage is 546. Two damage advantage, but requires 10 humanity.

Abyss greatsword is the better one imo. The 1H R2 is definitely better, but both 2H R2 are equally as bad. For abyss greatsword, if you have high STR and DEX, then it's worth it.
