Futurama is a 3D platform video game based on the science fiction animated series of the same name. It was developed by Unique Development Studios for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, both of which use cel-shading technology. The cutscenes of the game are presented as an entire "lost episode" of Futurama on the DVD of The Beast with a Billion Backs.

Feb 1, 2023 · Although it failed to win any Game of the Year awards, the 2003 Futurama video game is noteworthy for including 28 minutes of new animation featuring most of the original cast. Fortunately, those scenes were included as a “ lost episode ” in one of the DVDs.
The episode is cut together from some of FMVs unlocked by collecting Nibblers during gameplay; (almost) all of the in-game cut scenes, the credits and the attract movie, which contains game play footage.
